Background:  Leading Kuwait speciality food gifts brand

Desired Outcome:  To have conducted an initial strategic assessment of the brands products, broader commissary and supply chain operation in line with the company’s vision and growth projections.    

Provide management with a discussion paper and an initial roadmap of the opportunity, the challenges ahead and possible next steps.  

Focussing on commissary (manufacturing), procurement (raw material supply), R&D (shelf life extensions) and the route to market, the assessment would take into account:

              - To understand managements vision and how that can be translated into a Road Map.

- The company’s portfolio

- The key categories

- Assess the opportunity of how their products could be economically and profitably produced and distributed whilst assuring continuity of supply to their outlets and future franchisees.

- Assessment of the current manufacturing capability, i.e. what we do and how we do it, technology and know-how, R&D capabilities.

- Assess the key product categories and SKU rationalization

- Supply categories, spend analysis and raw material supply stability and capabilities.

- Develop a roadmap for the manufacturing facility in terms of capacity and capability
